To wear white or colored wedding dress

By Elizabeth Leave a Comment

Your wedding dress should not be used to define you, but this is a way to show what your tastes are. Wearing a colored wedding gown does not put it out that your wedding is pure, or less a bride. You will probably not be the first to be wearing a colored dress, or with some mix of color in it. You can easily play around with color, or just throw in some color. This is how you easily do it.

Color theme

  • Your color theme is most probably what you ought to consider while choosing your colored wedding dress. At times, you would not to have the full blown color, but have a fading shade of some color. For instance, you could have blue, pink, purple or cream. Ivory is most popular when it comes to colorecolored_wedding_dress 2d gowns, but this should not be a limitation. Do not go off your color theme of the wedding, but you may want to select a shade that is a bit off from the rest of the bridal party. This is mostly seen in best maids, and get the main color.

Throwing in some color

  • Mixing in some bit of color to your gown, together with your white gown will make the white sparkle even more. This is mainly because it tends to be darker and the white turns brighter. For instance, someone may have a dress with a waist band that is taken from the color scheme. This will apply for people who have chosen “kitenge” as the garment of the day. Another way to incorporate color is to have the upper part of your dress colored. This will help in brightening your face, if dark, and otherwise to complement your skin color.

Accessories

  • Accessorizing your wedding with some color is yet another great way to put in some color. A pure white dress with blue or red colored beads added to form some patterns on your gown will bring out the perfect dress. If you want to add in African touch with your look, you can have your jewels African, to go along. When you mix color in your dress, it becomes much easier to add in African jewels.

Wedding gowns for mothers

  • According to the Kenyan perception, a bride isn’t considered right to wear pure white, since this iscolored-wedding-dresses-colored-wedding-40077-411-1 a symbol of purity n the union. For this reason, having the colored gown in style would be the best thing. This would also be a way to have the color hide in your tummy a little bit. Your fashion designer would highly recommend a floral print, that isn’t too big. This will make you look smaller.

There is the best way you can have your wedding colored dress and still have the sleek look, with the glow every bride has. It is important to note that a colored wedding dress does not limit you have full features of a wedding dress. Go ahead and your day difficult to erase in your guest’s memory.
