4 Steps to finding a Perfect Ring

By Joyce Leave a Comment

For centuries now in Africa, it has been a tradition that after loving someone and getting married to them, a ring is placed on their finger an indication that you are one. Rings are of differing sizes, designs and materials and most couples buy rings according to what they are able to afford.

1. Set budget: In most African weddings, a bride and groom must give each other rings to signify their love. Normally, they are purchased and they diverge in prices. Some are so dear and others are of low cost and affordable.

  • The kind of rings you decide to buy should depend on the budget you had set for drifting from it will make you overspend.
  • A couple can however get cheap elegant rings at a cost effective prices. These rings can either be purchased online or in local shops.

2. Size: One can not just pop in a ring shop and choose a ring depending on the value, price and quality. You need to know the exact size of the wearer.

  • You can do this by accompanying your spouse the shop and get the one that fits you best. This is not an engagement that you want to surprise them.
  • Ensure the ring you choose is not so tight and it has some allowance. Remember you will, have to wear this for a very long time so long as you are together and do not compromise the size of the ring with any other factor.
  • The ring should fit you even in case you add some weight and that is another reason why it is imperative to have one that has some allowance.

3. True value: Rings are made of varying materials such as gold, diamond, and silver, aluminum among others. You need to be sure of the kind of ring and also be able to know if it has a true value.

  • For gold rings, be specific if you want pure gold or gold that has been mixed with other metals which makes them look different in terms of color.
  • Silver is also a very good material; for it is affordable, durable and believe it or not it has a better valuation percentage than even those designed from gold.

4. Place to purchase: One might have an idea of the kind of ring she wants, price and even quality but does not know where to buy one.

  • One can visit the numerous website stores selling wedding rings and choose on of their choice before giving their finger sizes to get one that fits them appropriately. It might be challenging but it is also a way of getting unique rings of great value and get them delivered at your door step.
  • In local stores, you will get the kind of ring you want. Do not get weary of moving from shop to shop looking for your best option. Remember this is something you will be wearing for a very long time and choose the one that looks best on you not forgetting the quality, size and price.
